The Noughties: The Least Influential Decade in Music Ever

Mickey & Sylvia's 1957 hit "Love Is Strange" featured the teasing vocals of Sylvia Robinson and the innovative guitar work of Mickey Baker; Baker's solo would influence the young Jimi Hendrix. Originally written by Bo Diddley and sold to Mickey & Sylvia for $2,000, the song's authorship was challenged in court by Diddley's guitarist Jody Williams.
